Lay Salvatorians in Tanzania
There have been attempts over the years to start Lay Salvatorian groups in Tanzania. Last year, Fr. Lukoa translated formation information into Kiswahili. S. Trojestina works with the women's group at the parish church in Masasi. We are beginning a wonderful relationship with them. On Sunday, we visited together after church, and today, two of their leaders stopped by to talk more about becoming Lay Salvatorians. It's a slow process, but they are enthusiastic. The Sisters, priests and Brothers are collaborating with the lay members of the parish to plan the jubilee celebrations for later this year. There's lots to be thankful for!
